Damascus karambit folding pocket blade
Ancient design. Modern mastery.
The karambit is one of the most iconic blade designs in history — and this Damascus version elevates it to an art form. Forged from 67 layers of Damascus steel with a VG10 center core, the 3.0" curved blade is razor-sharp, beautifully patterned, and built for precision. The distinctive curved profile offers unmatched control and a grip that feels completely natural in hand.
The 4.0" petrified wood handle is a marvel in itself — millions of years in the making, no two pieces are identical. Its natural texture provides a secure, confident grip, while its deep, earthy tones perfectly complement the flowing Damascus pattern of the blade.

Damascus Blades Explained
At the core of our Damascus blades is VG-10 steel — with a staggering Rockwell hardness of 60-63, offering optimum performance in sharpness and edge retention. The VG-10 center is protected (sandwiched) with 33 layers of stainless steel on each side, for a total of 67 layers. Some of our blades feature 73, 89, or 103 layers — among the very best in the world for kitchen knives.
Damascus blade patterns provide a non-stick surface, allowing for buttery smooth cuts. Each blade is the result of 40 different processes and 180 hours of grinding. Forging the layers requires 3 different kinds of steel, continuous welding, continuous layering, and forging — a true testament to the craft.
